Manama to host Bahraini-Egyptian Exhibition

Cairo, Mar. 7 (BNA): In a coordination meeting held in Cairo between the Bahraini-Egyptian Business Council of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Egyptian industries, Head of Bahrain's delegation, Afnan Al-Zayani, emphasized the significance of benefiting from the strong Bahraini-Egyptian relations and the exchange of official visits that serve the private sector partnerships between the two countries. Al-Zayani called on Egyptian investors to use Bahrain's investment promotion, as it is a key gate to the region's market. The meeting discussed the preparations for the Bahraini-Egyptian Expo to be hosted by Bahrain on May 16-18, with the participation of a number of Egyptian concerned ministers and representatives from various industrial sectors, comprising petrochemicals, aluminum, petroleum, leather, textile, cosmetics and ceramics, as well as participation of other commercial and service sectors, including banking, investment, traditional and therapeutic tourism of both countries. The meeting also discussed the Egyptian participation in the associating exhibition that will substantially stimulate Bahraini, Egyptian and Gulf private sectors. The associating exhibition will also focus on boosting cooperation, trade exchange, investment and tourism, as well as launching direct commercial flights between Bahrain and a number of Egyptian tourist cities.
