Many Trees Planted at Surroundings of Tanchon Power Station in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- True to the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to turn all the mountains of the country into thick forests, servicepersons and shock brigade members of the DPRK engaged in the construction of the Tanchon Power Station have planted more than 500 000 trees in hundreds of hectares of mountains. The field headquarters made all construction units conduct field survey to set the position of nurseries and produce saplings. Builders installed the sun visors and dug drainage canals to protect saplings from high temperature and flood. -0-
