Maritime security cooperation stressed

Manama, (BNA): Coast Guard Commander Brigadier has received Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and the 5th Fleet. The Coast Guard Commander welcomed the guest, highlighting the importance of such visits in the reinforcement of maritime security cooperation. They reviewed bilateral relations and issues of common interest. During the visit, the US official was briefed about the duties and missions of the Coast Guard and its role in ensuring marine safety. He also visited the Maritime Operations Centre.
