MAS Flight Returns To Melbourne Airport Due To Disruptive Passenger

KUALA LUMPUR, June 1 (Bernama) -- A Kuala Lumpur-bound Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight was forced to turn back due to a disruptive passenger. In a statement on Wednesday night, the airline said Flight MH128 which departed from Melbourne, Australia on Wednesday night, was expected to arrive in Kuala Lumpur on June 1 at 5.28am (Malaysian time). “The flight had turned back after the operating captain was alerted by a cabin crew of a passenger who had attempted to enter the cockpit,” it said. The flight had left Melbourne airport at 11.11pm (Australian time) and returned to the airport, about 30 minutes later. -- BERNAMA
