Mazhilis deputies met with representatives of OSCE High Commissioner

Astana, 23 October 2008, (Khabar) - Representatives of OSCE High
Commissioner on national minorities Sabina Makhl and Dmitriy Aleshkevich have met with Mazhilis deputies of Parliament of Kazakhstan, who were elected from the Assembly of Kazakhstan's People.

Kairat Sadvakasov, Valeriy Vishnichenko and Rozakul Khalmuradov have told the guests about unique model of inter ethnic relations in our country. Representatives of over 130 nationalities live in peace and accord in Kazakhstan. Assembly of Kazakhstan
's People was founded according to the initiative of President Nursultan Nazarbayev and experience of its work was adopted in most countries. Also the deputies and representatives of OSCE High Commissioner have discussed some other important issues.

minorities:
- Together with deputies we have discussed many issues, such as TV
broadcasting, education, election laws. We have presented with pleasure some
positions and our thoughts for our Kazakh friends. They can take a use of
them and improve some aspects of electoral legislation and we are satisfied
with our meeting.
