Meeting of mayor of Alatau district with residents

Almaty, November 04, 2009 (Khabar) - Self seizing of land and chaotic construction in Alatau district is stopped. Mayor Bagdat Manzorov has summed up results of work during 9 months and shared with his plans for future during the meeting with district residents. This district of Almaty city was considered almost most criminal and the main trouble was fraud with land lots. Prosecutor Baurzhan Makulbayev has said this problem was solved.

- Now we ripe the fruits of those crimes that were committed at the initial stage of district creating and by today such crimes are annihilated as a result of active law explanation work.

One more task is to legalize illegal constructions and over 2 000 families received official documents for land lots and houses. Bagdat Manzorov, mayor of Alatau district has says 1000 more state acts will be given to residents of district before the end of this year. And it is also necessary to settle the problem of 1,5 000 houses that are built in dangerous zone near gas pipelines, electricity lines and cemetery.

- The next year we will overhaul “Sayaly” micro district with 800 hectares of deserted land. Main way will be constructed from Raimbek-Momysh-uly to Burunday and the first construction was already begun this year.

The local authorities plan to suggest people to buy flats in installments or to rent flats. During 9 months of this year half of 300 streets were repaired, 3 modern schools and nursery schools were built in Alatau district in Almaty. About 3 000 people were employed according to Road Map and social objects are repaired and constructed. The former depressive district is developing now.

- There were almost no any roads and now they are constructed and gas pipelines and electricity lines are also constructed.
