The Minister of Finance and National Economy meets the United States of America’s Secretary of the Treasury

Manama, June 26 (BNA): The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today met with the United States of America’s Secretary of the Treasury, the Honourable Steven Mnuchin on the side-lines of the Peace to Prosperity Workshop - hosted in partnership with the United States. HE the Minister stressed the importance of enhancing the close economic and strategic cooperation shared by the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States. HE the Minister reaffirmed that the Kingdom continues to deliver economic growth while strengthening its global competitiveness, reinforcing Bahrain’s position as a regional economic hub. HE the Minister went on to note that the Kingdom’s economic strategy is delivering diverse, sustainable economic growth. HE the Minister recognised the importance of further enhancing trade and investment between the two nations, resulting in mutually beneficial economic development.
