Minister of Foreign Affairs receives British Ambassador

Manama, Dec. 28 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, today received the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Roderick Drummond. The meeting discussed the close historical friendly relations between Bahrain and UK in various fields, and means to develop joint cooperation to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries and peoples. The two sides reviewed the constructive outcomes of the official talks held in London between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development of the United Kingdom, H.E. Elizabeth Truss as well as the joint ministerial meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the United Kingdom.
