Minister of Justice reiterates commitment to facilitating thriving economic opportunities for the Palestinian people

Manama, May 20 (BNA): The Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowment, H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, noted that the “Peace to Prosperity” workshop - which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in partnership with the United States of America - demonstrates the two nations’ joint commitment to regional development and prosperity, and to facilitating thriving economic opportunities for the Palestinian people and the wider region. HE the Minister went on to reiterate the Kingdom's firm support to the Palestinian cause and recognised the importance of meeting the aspirations of the Palestinian people. HE expressed hope that the outcomes of the ‘Peace to Prosperity’ workshop will achieve the vision and framework for a prosperous future for the Palestinian people and the region through economic strategies and initiatives that will promote investment and advance economic development. HE highlighted the important role inclusive, sustainable growth plays in promoting regional peace and prosperity as well as enabling the Palestinian people to achieve their desired development goals.
