Minister launches books' collection

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): On the side-lines of opening the Media Centre for the 37th GCC Summit, Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi - has launched a collection of books authored by Dr. Abdullah Al Madani. The minister listened to a briefing from the author about his books – including his books titled "Bahrain and the Gulf in the Good Old Days", "Bahrainis in Khobar and Dammam" and "Gulf Elites" - that reflect the historic fraternal bonds and common history and success stories from the GCC countries and peoples The minister praised the author's remarkable efforts and continuous documenting of Gulf ties and his various stories narrating the Gulf society's heritage and similar traits of the Arabian Gulf peoples. The author thanked expressed his delight at the minister's launching a collection of his books amidst large media presence, praising the huge efforts of the Ministry of Information Affairs in supporting Bahraini researchers, writers, intellectuals and their books.
