Minister meets Saudi corporate executives

Manama, Nov. 25 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from New Link Company, specialized in the implementation of projects in various fields, including renewable energy. The minister was briefed by the company officials on the company activities and projects in the region. They expressed desire for cooperation in the fields of renewable energy and increasing the efficiency of energy in Bahrain via modern technologies in energy efficiency that proved successful and effective several neighboring countries. The minister praised the company's efforts aimed at activating the use of sustainable and environmentally friendly energy and raising its efficiency. He pointed out that the government pays great attention to encouraging benefit of clean energy.
