Minister receives Arab Gulf States Institute president

Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received today President of the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington Ambassador Douglas A. Silliman. The minister commended the historic strategic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States in various political, military, economic and other fields. He noted the role of the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington in studying and analyzing the various developments taking place in the region, aiming to reinforce stability and security. He also wished the Ambassador and the staff of the institute continued success. For his part, Ambassador Douglas hailed the development of the Kingdom of Bahrain in all areas, highlighting its role in consolidating peace and security in the region.
