Minister receives Atif Holding CEO

Manama, Oct. 4 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Chief Executive Officer of Atif Holding Group Obaidly Al Obaidly, in the presence of for Administrative and Financial Affairs Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Electricity and Water Authority Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Sadqi. The company specialises in commercial activities including electronic sports, a first of its kind specialisation, which sets up competitions in electronic games between competitors on the Internet in the Middle East. The minister said the activity opens the way for youngsters with skills to invest their energies in development projects capable of transforming Bahrain into a center for various kinds of electronic sports. Mr. Al-Obaidly thanked the minister for his understanding of this new initiative and praised his support and encouragement for ideas that lead to increasing sources of income, including electronic industries, specifically in electronic sports. The meeting was attended by Advisor to the Minister Adel Al-Taho.
