Minister receives chairman of Sharjah Media Centre

03 : 13 PM - 17/11/2016 Manama, Nov. 17 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi has received Chairman of Sharjah Media Centre and Executive Council Member of Sharjah Emirate, Shaikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, and his accompanying delegation. The visit aims to announce and promote the 'Sharjah Government Communication Award 2017'. The minister praised the contributions of Sharjah Media Centre in development of the public media and communications sector, praising the Centre's initiatives and wishing them continuous success. The initiative aims to recognise and honour the best governmental organisations in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) of Arabian Gulf States. Shaikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qassimi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the minister for the good reception, affirming his aspiration to boosting the media cooperation and exchange of expertise with the Kingdom of Bahrain, lauding the remarkable development of the Kingdom's media and communications sector.
