Minister receives King Fahad Causeway official

Manama, July 25 (BNA): Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa has received Director-General of King Fahad Causeway Organization Dr. Emad Ibrahim Al Mohesain, presence of Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The minister hailed the Bahrain-Saudi fraternal ties. He was briefed on key planned projects of the organization. They discussed the completion of the expansion of passenger cabins and implementing a study on the maximum utilizations of the current paperwork processing areas. The minister praised the efforts of the organization in enhancing performance through streamlining procedures. The minister stressed the need to tackle traffic jams on the causeway. The director-general thanked minister for his keenness to implement the Causeway development projects.
