Minister receives Kuwaiti ambassador

Manama, Aug. 1 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received Ambassador of Kuwait to Bahrain Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al Sabah. During the meeting, the minister expressed the Kingdom’s pride in the deep-rooted brotherly historic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, which are based on the solid foundations of common destiny, history and objectives. He also commended the efforts exerted by Shaikh Azzam throughout his term, setting an example of a hardworking diplomat. The minister wished the outgoing ambassador success. For his part, Shaikh Azzam expressed his appreciation for the support given to him by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry’s officials during his term, which helped him enhance bilateral and brotherly relations between the two countries. He also wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
