Minister receives Sudan envoy

Manama, Sept. 17 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Sudanese Ambassador Ibrahim Mohammed Al Hassan and praised the solid relations between the two countries. The minister stressed on Bahrain’s keenness to further develop these relations, especially in the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors. The two sides reviewed projects implemented in these sectors, especially the steps being undertaken in the energy projects in Bahrain and the possibility of exchanging experiences with Sudan. The ambassador thanked the minister and officials for the warm welcome and the hospitality and applauded Dr. Mirza’s constant efforts to develop cooperation in the fields of electricity, water and renewable energy sectors.
