Ministers of Municipality and Environment Meet Qatari Farms Owners

Doha, March 13 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Municipality Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie and HE the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Thani met today, with owners of Qatari farms, on the sidelines of Qatars 9th International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ) and Qatar's 3rd International Environmental Exhibition (EnviroteQ). During the meeting, views were exchanged between farm owners, the Ministry of Municipality, and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in the field of developing agricultural production and ways to preserve natural wealth and water resources by using the best modern means and techniques to reduce the use of groundwater to focus on the quality of the agricultural products, and to discuss how to face environmental challenges as well as the effects of climate change on the agricultural sector. HE the Minister of Municipality stressed during the meeting the Ministry's continuous support for farm owners and commitment to removing all obstacles and challenges facing agricultural production, praising the great qualitative leap made by Qatari farms in terms of agricultural production and the use of the latest agricultural technologies.
