MOFA Assistant Undersecretary receives a Chinese delegation

Manama, Apr. 23 (BNA): Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bint Duaij Al Khalifa, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Undersecretary for Arab and Afro-Asian Affairs and Organisations met today a delegation from the Foreign Affairs Office of People's Government of Guangdong Province in the People’s Republic of China headed by Li Jian Deputy Director General of GDFAO during their official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Assistant Undersecretary welcomed the Chinese delegation and praised the strong ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People’s Republic of China, and expressed her hope that this visit can help strengthen the relations to serve the interest of both countries. She also lauded the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Shenzhen city in the People’s Republic of China and the Kingdom of Bahrain on September 4, 2016 in Manama in an effort to strengthen the friendship ties. Li Jian praised the strong bilateral ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People’s Republic of China which are witnessing progress and prosperity in all fields.
