MoFA receives French delegation

Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)'s Undersecretary for International Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa has received a French parliamentary delegation led by Jean-Luc Reitzer the Secretary General of the Bahraini-French Friendship Group of the French Parliament, accompanied by a trade delegation headed by Sébastien Matty the Chairman of the GA Smart Building Group, in the presence of the French Ambassador to Bahrain, Bernard Régnauld-Fabre. The Undersecretary praised the progress in bilateral relations between Bahrain and the French Republic, which resulted in the establishment of the Bahraini-French Joint Committee under the wise directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President François Hollande, during His Majesty's last visit to the French Republic in 2013. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen relations with the French Republic in various parliamentary, economic, cultural and artistic fields.
