Mongolian becomes director of IFAIMA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A section head at Department of Air Navigation Services of the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia (CAA) D.Erdenebaatar has been appointed the director of the International Federation of Aeronautical Information Management Associations in charge of Asia-Pacific affairs. A decision on this appointment was made during the 6th General Assembly of the IFAIMA which ran in Istanbul, Turkey. Founded in 2009, the IFAIMA has some 5,000 members and supporters in 49 countries, and it is a NGO with aims to improve the services of air navigation. At the General Assembly, the IFAIMA president Mr Fernando Lopez emphasized that the Association selects a Mongolian as the director, appreciating achievements in the navigation information services of the Mongolian civil aviation.
