Moscow, St. Petersburg host Iranian Cultural Week

TEHRAN,Oct.2(MNA)--Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini, Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky, and a number Iranian and Russian officials and artists attended an opening ceremony held in Moscow. A large number of art shows, concerts, and film screenings has been arranged for this week. “Alzheimer’s” directed by Ahmadreza Motamedi, “The Maritime Silk Road” by Mohammadreza Bozorgnia, “Here without Me” by Bahram Tavakkoli, “Days of Life” by Parviz Sheikhtadi, “The Kingdom of Solomon” by Shahriar Bahrani, all of which have been dubbed into Russian, will be screened during the event. In addition, organizers also plan to showcase a collection of the latest calligraphic paintings by Jalil Rasuli in an exhibition during festival. Culture Minister Hosseini plans to visit some Russian cultural officials and centers during his 4-day sojourn in the country.
