Moscow urges Kiev to discuss humanitarian aid deliveries to Ukraine eastern regions - Russian FM

MOSCOW, May 30 (Itar-Tass) - Moscow calls on Kiev to discuss humanitarian aid deliveries to Ukrainian residents, who badly need it, the Russian Foreign Ministry says. “On May 28 the Russian Foreign Ministry sent a note to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry informing the authorities in Kiev that citizens and organisations in Eastern Ukraine, where casualties were reported as a result of the armed actions, asked for urgent humanitarian aid, primarily medications,” the ministry says. The Russian ministry confirmed that the country was ready to provide necessary aid to residents of the mentioned regions. The Ukrainian ministry said on May 29 that Moscow should better “focus on satisfaction of numerous requests for humanitarian aid from the residents of the Republic of Crimea.” The Russian ministry named this statement as cynical.
