The most beautiful woman” play’s premier in Tashkent

Tashkent, October 29, 2009 (Khabar) - The characters of the “Most beautiful woman” play by Kazakh playwright Sultanali Balgabayev began to speak the Uzbek language. This play has been staged at the National academic drama theatre of Uzbekistan.

Saida Rakhmetova, leading lady:
- I got fascinated at this play so much because its main theme is sorrow and the joy of love.

Ualikhan Omarov, director of drama theatre of Uzbekistan:
- An outstanding director Azerbaijan Mambetov staged the “Abai” play by Mukhtar Auezov at our theatre at his time. We’ve decided to revive the exchange tradition and introduce the best works by Kazakh authors to our spectators.

Plays by Uzbek authors such as “A red apple” and “One thousand and one nights” are being performed at the Gabit Musrepov children and young people’s theatre while “Alpamys” was performed on the Uzbek stage.

- The actors’ play was very heartfelt and well. Everything was clear without any words.

Uzbek actors decided to invite the play’s author Sultanali Balgabayev to Tashkent and show him their work.
