Most wanted gunman in South arrested

SONGKHLA, Nov 16 (TNA) - Sua Tao the most wanted gunman by the Police Region 9 in the South was arrested on seven warrants. Police sealed off a resort in Songkhla’s Singhanakorn district to search for Charnchai Borisut, 37 alias Sua Tao, blacklisted by the Provincial Police Region 9. The police tracked him down and found he stayed at the resort. After ten- minute negotiation through megaphone, the gunman surrendered. The search found a woman in his room but she was not involved in the cases. The police seized some ammunition, dumped in the toilet and a broken mobile phone, found in a toilet tank. Charnchai was detained for questioning at the police coordination center in Songkhla. He has seven arrest warrants from 2007 to 2015. In one of a major cases, he is charged with killing the head of Wat Chan sub-district and his man in Songkhla in 2013. (TNA)
