M'sian PM, Najib's Followers On Twitter About 500,000, Facebook One Million

KUALA LUMPUR, March 21 (Bernama) - The number of followers of Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak in social networking sites Twitter and Facebook has reached almost 500,000 and one million respectively. The Prime Minister in his Tweet at 10.30 Tuesday night said he is touched by the support given and thanked his followers. "I am touched to see about 500,000 Twitter followers while Facebook has about one million followers . Thank you." He also sought the views of the people to celebrate his 500,000 Twitter and one million Facebook followers. "Maybe you have suggestions on how to celebrate upon reaching the 500,000 and one million followers," he added. At the time of writing (11.35pm), Najib's Twitter followers stood at 498,527 people while his Facebook friends reached 977,282 people. Followers on Twitter increased to 498,627 about ten minutes later. --BERNAMA
