Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture minister meets Slovak delegation

Manama, Jun 16 (BNA): Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak held a meeting with a sloval delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Štefan Holý, currently on visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He stressed keenness on bolstering bilateral cooperation across all fields, particularly the urban planning and municipal sectors, noting Bahrain’s development strides, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
“We seek to strengthen cooperation, enhance the exchange of expertise by benefiting from experiences and technologies in various fields, including modern electronic systems in the issuance of building permits”, he said.
He briefed the Slovak delegation on the 2030 Bahrain Economic Vision, which is based on three core principles: Justice, competitiveness and sustainability.
He highlighted the achievements made at various levels of development through the implementation of a package of projects, various initiatives and qualitative programs in line with the objectives of this ambitious vision.
Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, briefed the Slovak delegation about the building permit system "Banayat".
He noted that the "Banayat" system is one of the initiatives that aim to achieve Bahrain's Economic Vision by making the private sector a key partner for developing the economy.
He pointed out that the "Banayat" system was launched in October 2018 to issue new building permits for vacant lands for all types of investment projects; Residential, industrial, commercial, service and projects of a special nature.
