NAM experts visit Tehran museums

TEHRAN,Aug.29(MNA) -- A group of experts from countries of Sri Lanka, Ecuador, Thailand, China and India visited Tehran’s Niavaran and Golestan palace museums on the sidelines of the 16th NAM summit on Monday.
The Niavaran Palace Museum was the primary residence of Iran’s former monarch Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and the royal family until the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
The Golestan Palace Museum is a Qajar era monument located in downtown Tehran.
Several short tours across the metropolis have been arranged by the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Organization (CHTHO) for the NAM participants.
