Nasir Khusraw research center, a need

Tehran, Nov 11, IRNA – Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution’s Committee of Islamic and Iranian Culture and Civilization held a meeting in which they emphasized the need to establish a research center for Iranian philosopher Nasir Khusraw. During the meeting, the members voiced their opinions among which collecting the written works released on Nasir Khusraw, establishing a research center for the prominent figure as well as considering him as a translator and conveyor of scientific heritage (from Arabic into Persian) were highlighted. The committee also noted that the scientific role of Jondi Shapour University (the world’s oldest university) should be revived and the center’s impact on later scholars should also be studied.
