Nasser bin Hamad meets US Assistant Secretary of Defense

Washington, Oct. 6(BNA): National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met Celeste Wallander is Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs in the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy at the U.S. Department of Defense. HH Shaikh Nasser stressed long-standing relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, noting joint advanced cooperation at all levels, especially in the military and defence fields. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad and the Assistant Secretary of Defense discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation. They also discussed issues of common interest. The meeting was attended by Bahraini Ambassador to the USA, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Assistant National Security Advisor, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau (SSB), Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, and Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
