Nasser bin Hamad Showjumping Championship postponed

Manama, Feb. 5(BNA): Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) announced the postponement of the Nasser bin Hamad Showjumping Championship which was supposed to take place on February 10, citing coincidence with a major event. The event's original date was falling at the time of Bahrain hosting the World Arabian Horse Organisation (WAHO) Conference, one of the most major events of its kind, and taking place from February 5-15. Thus, BREEF decided to delay the Championship until further notice, so that the main focus remains on the Conference, according to Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Showjumping Committee in BREEF. "The main aim is now make the Conference successful," he said. "Everyone in BREEF is working at the moment as part of the committees involved in organising the WAHO Conference, as we are keen to present the event the way that reflects the leading role of Bahrain in organising top functions,"
