Nasser bin Hamad Youth Creativity Award wins global recognition

Manama, Sept. 24 (BNA): Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder has received the golden-class Quality Prize awarded by Business Initiatives Directions.
The prize was delivered in Frankfurt, Germany, in recognition of the Nasser bin Hamad International Youth Creativity Award as one of the leading global youth development initiatives.
The minister said the Nasser Bin Hamad International Youth Creativity Award is one of the proven successful initiatives of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and Bahrain Olympic Committee President for global youth leadership gaining vast international acclamation and winning the golden Quality Prize in view of its objectives and values aimed to develop world youth intellect and skills.
The minister took pride in the golden prize that coincides with the "Year of Gold" as an additional accomplishment to the achievements of the Nasser bin Hamad International Youth Creativity Award for its ceaseless efforts in supporting the world youth and the provision of positive and fertile environment to develop and boost youth entrepreneurship in realization of the vision of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa of making the kingdom the destination of youth across pioneering initiatives geared towards youth development.
Al Jowder added that the award comes to crown the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, the award's supervisory team in fulfilling all the requirements of the international prize and continuous development of its work thus winning the confidence of the prize officials, arbitration panel and receiving a high evaluation culminating in obtaining the golden category prize.
The minister explained that the upwards spiraling progress and proven numeric facts in favor of the award according to the report. The first edition began with the participation of six countries. The fourth edition witnessed a remarkable increase in the participation of 112 countries. The report indicated that the number of youth participations in the first edition was 100. Meanwhile the participations reached 5,773 in the fourth edition. The fifth edition participations reached 7,012 from 120 countries.
