National Footwear Exhibition Opens

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- The 2019 Autumn National Footwear Exhibition opened with due ceremony at the Pyongyang Yokjon Department Store on Friday. The exhibition will wage in the forms of product exhibition and sci-tech presentation. Presented to it are more than 182 500 products of at least 1 300 kinds from over 50 units including the Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory, the Ryuwon Footwear Factory, the shoe-making institute of the Management Bureau for the Shoe-making Industry and Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry, and scores of researching findings made in the field of footwear industry. Attending the ceremony were Vice-Premier Im Chol Ung, Minister of Light Industry Choe Il Ryong, officials concerned, officials of the exhibiting units, researchers, technicians, postgraduate students, three-revolution team members and workers.
