National Guard conducts virtual joint exercise with Kuwaiti counterpart

Manama, Dec. 28 (BNA): National Guard Director of Staff Major General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa witnessed the conclusion of the virtual joint exercise (Taawon 5), between Bahraini and Kuwaiti National Guards through the National Guard operations room in Al-Sakhir Camp. The Kuwaiti National Guard Undersecretary Lieutenant General Hashim Abdul Razzaq Al-Rifai was present in the Kuwaiti National Guard operations room in Kuwait. The director of staff confirmed that the fifth edition of the exercise comes in implementation of the cooperation protocols signed between the two sides to raise levels of coordination and exchange experiences, reflecting the depth of military cooperation between the two National Guard officials, and working to achieve high levels of readiness in the two military systems. The Kuwaiti National Guard Undersecretary praised the great level shown by the men of the National Guard in the two countries, stressing that the joint Bahraini-Kuwaiti military work is witnessing improvement and reflecting the success of the joint military action unit in protecting national security.
