National Guard President attends Pakistan Day celebration

Islamabad, Mar. 25 (BNA): National Guard President, General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, participated as a “guest of honour” in a celebration organised by the Pakistani army marking Pakistan Day which is observed on March 23. The ceremony was attended by the President of Pakistan, senior officers from Pakistan’s army, a large number of Pakistani citizens and residents as well as invitees from brotherly and friendly countries to Pakistan. The National Guard President expressed sincere congratulations to Pakistani President, Dr. Arif Alvi, and people on Pakistan Day, expressing appreciation of the military shows conducted by the Pakistani army. He praised high competence and readiness displayed in the shows by the Pakistani forces and participating ones from brotherly and friendly countries. The National Guard President lauded strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Pakistan, stressing Pakistan’s role in boosting regional security and stability. He also praised the advanced level of bilateral military cooperation which reflects the long-standing partnership between the two brotherly countries. The National Guard participated in the festive shows marking Pakistan Day.
