National School of State Politics holds selection

Astana, August 22, 2009 (Khabar) - A personnel reserve of Kazakh managerial elite is being created. The final stage of the first intake to the National School of state politics has taken place at the capital Academy of state administration under the president of Kazakhstan. This institution will be preparing a personnel reserve of political state officials. The education will be conducted in accordance with a joint program with the school of state politics of the National University of Singapore. According to representatives of the academy, the high authority of this educational institution has become the determining factor in choosing an educational partner. Applicants who passed the examination in a special subject, as well as state and foreign languages successfully will take part in the competition. The school’s first admission amounts to 20 students and two more will be able to study on a fee paid basis. Executive public sector workers and managers of large companies are on the list of future students. A mayor of one the cities is among the applicants. The program involves lectures on legislation, economics and, social politics as well as the leadership training course. Lectures will be delivered by Singaporean professors. Apart from that, the program includes one month of in-depth training at the University of Singapore.
