National Security Advisor Receives British Chief of Defense Staff

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received British Chief of Defense Staff General Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter. HH Shaikh Nasser praised his participation in Manama Dialogue, and reviewed the path of Bahraini-British relations, stressing mutual keenness to develop them at all levels in a way that serves the common interests of the two kingdoms. The national security advisor hailed the United Kingdom’s role in the regional and international arena, and its efforts and contributions to consolidating the foundations of security and stability in the world. British chief of defense staff expressed his appreciation for Bahrain’s efforts in strengthening the historical bilateral ties, especially in the military and defense cooperation, praising the Kingdom’s role to establish security and peace in the region. They discussed topics of common interest. British Ambassador to Bahrain Roderick Drummond, was present.
