National security main guarantor for development

Manama, Sept. 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today members of the royal family and senior officials. He stressed the importance of maintaining security and stability of the nation, describing it as the main guarantor to continue development in various fields. He affirmed that national work, spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, is going ahead unabated to bring about more achievements. "Bahrain will always remain dear to us and deserves every care from us," HRH the Premier said, calling to take advantage of every opportunity leading to development. "We must all contribute to boosting stability in away that promotes the value of work and advances the community," he added, underlining the government's keenness on carrying out more programmes aimed at boosting development and bringing about more accomplishments. He recalled the remarkable role of the Bahraini forefathers in the kingdom's development march, stressing that global challenges require more awareness and determination from all to face threats to security and stability. "We have to draw a lesson from what is going around us," HRH the Prime Minister noted, underlining the approach of cooperation based on mutual respect that is adopted by Bahrain in its relations with other countries to promote global peace and security.
