National WMD committee holds meeting

Manama, May 10 (BNA): A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the National Committee on the Prohibition of Weapons of Mass Destruction. During the meeting, which was chaired by Undersecretary Ambassador Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla, the draft law of the Biological Weapons Convention was discussed and the draft law, prepared by the members of the Committee presented. They also agreed on the need to establish a mechanism for coordination among the concerned authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the preparation of international reports on nuclear, biological and chemical agreements.
