NCC Acting Chief Executive ,BNA Director General participates in meeting

Riyadh, Sept. 30 (BNA): Acting Chief Executive of the National Communication Centre (NCC) and Director General of Bahrain News Agency (BNA) Ahmed Mohammed Abdulkarim Al Mennai took part in the Information Ministries Undersecretaries meeting of the members states of the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen which convened in Riyadh today. He lauded the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in leading the coalition and serving Arab and Islamic Issues, stressing strong historic fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting will tackle ways of coordinating media efforts and providing media support to the coalition member states. It will also discuss cooperation with Yemen's Information Ministry in disclosing media reports from Yemen. Saudi Information Ministry Undersecretary for Foreign Media Dr. Khalid Abdul Qader Al Ghamedi welcomed the audience and conveyed the greetings of Saudi Information Minister Dr. Awad bin Saleh Al Awad. He said the meeting aims to continue coordinating efforts and joint action between the member states of the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen which was formed as a response to a call by Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi in March 2015. He added that the meeting also aims to back the legitimate government in Yemen to face the media campaigns of the Houthis and Iran in the region and the world. The Information Ministries Undersecretaries hailed the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's achievements, commending the Saudi role in promoting regional peace and stability.
