NHRA approves 'Continuous Medical Education' programme

Manama, Dec. 26 (BNA): The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) has approved the national “Continuous Medical Education” (CME), presented by the Education Plus company, the leaders in organising continuous medical education events and conferences.
Launched by Education Plus, CME is a high quality online educational platform that uses the latest educational technology and includes control and comprehensive evaluation features.
On the occasion, the NHRA’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al-Jalahma, highlighted the NHRA’s keenness to cope with the latest technological and electronic developments in light of the current circumstances created by the spread of the novel coronavirus at the global level, noting that the CME is a milestone in the health sector, as it will serve a wider segment in the kingdom and the Middle East region in the medical field.
Dr. Al-Jalahma affirmed that the major project will support all health sector practitioners, as it will constantly contribute to upgrading their medical information, and facilitate their access to medical programmes and events, within a secure environment, commending the key efforts exerted by the Education Plus company to boost medical education.
Education Plus Managing Director, Dr. Amin Abdulla, expressed sincere thanks to the NHRA for its constant cooperation with the company, noting that the CME will place Bahrain among pioneering countries in the medical field.
He stressed that the launch of the project will contribute significantly to upgrading the health services in the kingdom, as well as to enhancing its leading standing in the field of medical education.
