NIHR, PDRC discuss enhancing cooperation

Manama, Dec. 4 (BNA): President of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), Maria Khouri, and the Ombudsman Nawaf Mohammed Al Ma'awda also Head of Prisoners and Detainees Rights Commission (PDRC) today discussed boosting cooperation and the exchange of expertise to serve both sides’ objectives.  The two sides also discussed developing a joint training plan to control and inspect prisons and preparing reports related to the same in accordance with international standards.
