NIHR President receives Portuguese ambassador

Manama, Dec. 12 (BNA): President of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) Dr. Abdulaziz Hassan Abul received Portuguese Ambassador to Bahrain Manuel Karvalho. He stressed the institution's keenness to boost cooperation between both sides in boosting human rights. The Portuguese ambassador lauded the institution's role in promoting human rights, expressing readiness to provide it with every support in order to achieve set up goals. The meeting was attended by NIHR Vice President Abdullah Ahmed Al Derazi, Acting Secretary General Chancellor Yasser Ghanim Shahin and Information and Telecommunications Director at NIHR Fahad Al-Ma'alla.
