NIHR President receives UNDP Acting Resident Representative

Manama, Dec. 21 (BNA): National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) President Ali Ahmed Al Derazi received the Acting Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Bahrain Firas Gharaibeh. Al Derazi praised the cooperation between NIHR and UNDP, and emphasized on its continuation to achieves common goals. He stressed NIHR's keenness to cooperate with UNDP and benefit from its experience and initiatives in related issues, especially in organizing the coming conference about environmental protection. Gharaibeh appreciated the institution's efforts to contribute to a sustainable development through human rights in a way that serves human rights system in Bahrain, looking forward to more cooperation to achieve common goals.
