NIHR receives British deputy envoy

Manama, July 2 (BNA): The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s President Maria Khoury received the British Embassy’s Deputy Chief of Mission, Steward Summers. Khoury briefed the British diplomat about the National Institution’s role in spreading and boosting the protection of human rights. She stressed the significance of the cooperation on capacity-building offering training and assistance in various areas that will support the NIHR’s work. The UK’s deputy chief of mission expressed readiness to support the NIHR to achieve its objectives.
