NIHR, UNDP discuss cooperation

Manama, Sept. 11 (BNA): National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)'s President Ali Ahmed Al Derazi met with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Acting Resident Representative in Bahrain Firas Gharaibeh. The meeting discussed cooperation in areas related to human rights and sustainable development programs. Al Darazi praised UNDP’s efforts in supporting Bahrain’s sustainable development plan and stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and exchanging expertise. Gharaibeh praised NIHR’s efforts to develop the Kingdom’s human rights and said he was looking forward further to achieving common goals.
