No passengers on Australian airliner hurt in hijack attempt

BANGKOK, April 25 (Itar-Tass) - No passengers of airliner Boeing 737-800 of Virgin Australia Airlines that came under a hijack attempt on the way from the Australian city of Brisbane to the Indonesian holiday island of Bali were hurt, Indonesian Air Force stated on Friday. The Australian passenger airplane has made an emergency landing at Denpasar international airport on Bali on Friday. An incident on board the airliner caused the landing. A passenger tried to break into a cockpit after that a signal about hijacking came from the airplane. According to preliminary reports, the passenger was drunk.
