NSSA participates in World Space Week

Manama, Oct. 11 (BNA): The National Space Science Agency (NSSA) in cooperation with the Arab Space Cooperation Group participated in World Space Week. The NSSA held a symposium under “Satellites improve life”, in which Dr. Mohamed Al Othman an advisor and expert in NSSA, lectured, shedding light on the impact of satellites and their contribution to improving human life. Dr. Al Othman said that this participation comes as a scientific contribution from the NSSA within the integrative efforts of the Arab Space Cooperation Group to raise the level of awareness of space, its sciences, applications and its importance in our human life. He added that this is an important step towards establishing a sustainable space sector that will contribute in the development of science and technology in our Arab world. “It creates prestigious job opportunities for our youth and helps achieve the sustainable development goals that all countries seek to achieve,” he said.
