NVTC, Khalifa University C2PS host AI Knowledge-Sharing, machine learning events

Manama, Nov. 7 (BNA): Nasser Vocational Training Center (NVTC) and Khalifa University of Science and Technology’s Center for Cyber Physical Systems (C2PS) will organize two conferences to highlight the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in sports and education sectors. The conferences come under the framework of collaboration and support of AI in the Kingdom. NVTC facilities AI research, innovation, and projects as well as joint research programs, provides technical education and vocational training to Bahraini nationals. Khalifa University’s C2PS is the only center in the UAE that is capable of designing electronic chips for communication, security, healthcare, space, robotics, AI, and other applications. "Khalifa University and Abu Dhabi, in general, have always been offering scientific, technical and research support in the field of AI and future science. We appreciate these fraternal bonds, which continuously support the youth in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and we look forward to more collaborations and knowledge exchange," NVTC Executive Director Dr. Abdulla Alnoaimi said. "The upcoming conferences will stand testimony to the intense collaboration in next generation intelligent systems between not only Khalifa University and NVTC, but also between Abu Dhabi and the Kingdom of Bahrain. We foresee the two centers further strengthening this partnership in the coming years," C2PS Director Dr. Ernesto Damiani said.
