Oil and Environment Minister highlights Bahrain-Oman cooperation

Manama, Oct. 24 (BNA): Oil and Environment Minister, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr Mohammed Bin Mubarak Bin Daina, stressed Bahrain's keenness on developing cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman, particularly in the environmental sector. He commended deep-rooted ties, lauding steadily-growing joint ties, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman. He noted the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister as well as his keenness to further bolster fraternal ties and expanding cooperation. Dr. Bin Daina made the statement as he signed, along with Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi a memorandum of understanding between Bahrain Bahrain's Ministry of Oil and Environment, and Oman's Environment Authority, on the sidelines of HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. "This program aims to cooperate in various environmental, climatic and wildlife fields through exchanging successful practices between the two sides", hoping the executive scheme will contribute to increasing cooperation and opening broader environmental horizons between the two countries.
